happies: dancing girl, leftover pizza, and a warm cat

Kidlet is a dancing Ginger Snap in the Nutcracker tomorrow. That is the traditional youngest dancers bit, but their choreography is quite complex and it goes on for a longish time.

ridiculous amounts of details I apparently MUST get out of my system: She had a special rehearsal today, with Mother Ginger and the big skirt, three times. Then she wanted to stay and watch, so we saw the first act twice and the second act once. She was bubbling, fizzing over with excitement, dancing around and running up and down the stairs quite a bit.

Oh but I forgot about the part where she lost her ballet slippers and didn't bring home the loaners she was using so there we were at the last minute driving across town through some fairly icky traffic to the ballet store and running in and nearly flinging money at the counter and then to the theater.

The guys had dinner out at Zachary's but they brought home some leftovers which is good because I hadn't actually eaten all day.

And I have a purring cat sitting next to me in The Big Reclining Chair. He just fits in next to me.

Aw! In our Nutcracker, they were Bon Bons, but I know what you mean about the choreography going on for a while - it's always the little kids, but the music is pretty long. Merde to her!

I just realized this morning that the music is a reprise of the previous sections, the spanish chocolate and arabian coffee and stuff like that. Makes mre sense now.
