cheap(er) tickets for Wicked on Broadway?

So, NYC in two weeks!

We want to take the kidlet to see Wicked, she being an Oz fan, but the official tickets are really expensive. Is there any safe way to get cheaper tickets? Craigslist is full of impersonal scalpers that I don't trust a bit. Advice?

(I'm hitting Yet Another Deadline, and fighting with Firefox about printing, not sleeping enough, but at least I do have some additional paying work. Really boring conference calls where I try to stay awake and ask pertinent questions...)

Kate says: when I went to NYC a few years ago, there was a ticket office in Times Square that sold discounted tickets for same day shows. The line was about an hour long, and there are probably more than one of them? It's probably googleable. We were able to get Les Miz tickets for pretty decent prices. Also, several hotels have ticket offices in their lobbies with variable discounts.

Hiya Kate! I will keep looking around. I don't think kidlet is quite up for Les Miz, but Wicked looks good. You wouldn't recognize her now, her hair is long and she's so tall. She is bigger than the biggest hobbit. I should post pictures.
